Hotel Receptionist- Fixed Term
We’re seeking an experienced Hotel Receptionist to join our team on a 10-week fixed-term contract, working up to 24 hours per week. This role involves a mix of day, afternoon, and night shifts, offering variety and a great opportunity to gain experience in a busy, well-established Christchurch hotel.
This is ideal for a Working Holiday Visa holder
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for providing exceptional guest service from check-in to check-out, managing reservations, handling guest enquiries by phone and email, and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
What We’re Looking For
Previous hotel reception experience is essential
Excellent English communication skills – written and verbal
Well-presented, confident, and professional manner
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Familiarity with the MEWS property management system is an advantage
Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand – ideal for someone on a working holiday visa
