Walnut Tree Cottage is next to the family home, providing a peaceful and tranquil stop for visitors. Surrounded by a historical arboretum, farmland and views to the stunning Southern Alps, Walnut Tree Cottage is a perfect place to stop and take a breath. Where possible food is sourced locally and organically. Walnut Tree Cottage is home to many creatures - bee hives, cats, dog, sheep, alpaca, hens, roosters and a cheeky lorikeet!

We are very sad to announce that we have closed Walnut Tree Cottage until the 1st of May 2020 when we will review where things are at with Covid19.
We love having our fabulous guests staying, meeting people from all over the world. We have made such special connections. Even Charlie dog has found a number of guests feet he has taken a liking to!!! Bookings have completely stopped which is not surprising.
I will keep posting here so you can see that all is well in our wee place of paradise.
Stay safe and be kind to each other. We can get through this.
