Over the weekend some of the club got together for Septembers social outing which was a go at Small Bore R***e shooting.
It was a good night enjoyed by all, a bit of friendly competition within the club and followed by some brews!

We want to extend a massive thank you to Hawarden Waikari Small Bore R***e Club for showing us the tricks and letting us in on the action, we appreciate your support and hospitality!

Seems like something you’d like to be apart of? Come join the club and you could be a Hurunui Young Farmer too

Yesterday was another day on the tools for the club! We were lucky enough to be at the Sherwood Hunt on Sunday doing another fundraiser BBQ! The burgers went down well and it was good to get out and about for the team!

Once again, a huge thanks to Harris Farms and Leo Dunne LTD for supporting this effort and helping the club out!

The team were out on the tools yesterday for a fundraiser. Putting down the fencing gear and shears to picking up the tongs and spatula - doing a BBQ at one of the local hunts out the back of Hawarden.

We wanna thank our fantastic sponsors of Leo Dunne LTD for getting our BBQ trailer up to scratch and working with us on it!

As well as a huge shout out to Harris Farms for sponsoring us the burgers that we were able to sell today!

If it wasn’t for these local businesses supporting us, we don’t know where’d we be without them, so a huge hats off to them!

*More info about our BBQ trailer coming soon regarding ability to hire it, or allowing us to come fundraise at your events going on*

It’s that time of the year again…Annual General Meeting time. This year we are looking for new members to come give an exec role a go, give it a crack and bring some new ideas to the club and if you’re not into taking on a challenge then we would still love to see new faces around the table contributing and joining what the club gets up to!

Any questions please feel free to reach out to us through messenger!

Hope to see you there
