Even though we’re surrounded by this kind of view, we’re still only 8mns from the Nelson township. Gosh this country never ceases to blow our minds. So grateful to live here.

This was my glorious view as I stepped out of the shower this morning.

We're nestled in at Brook Valley Holiday Reserve in Nelson for the next 4 days. The $2 shower machines are a fun novelty & we have groovy bunks in a cabin!

Even though we're surrounded by this kind of view, we're still only 8mns from the Nelson township. Gosh this country never ceases to blow our minds. So grateful to live here.

The kākāriki karaka, orange-fronted parakeet, is one of the many manu (birds) you could find while visiting the Brook Valley Holiday Reserve.

Waking up to the sound of birds and river rushing in the background, it’s truly something unlike anything else here in Nelson, NZ.

This iconic bird is also our logo! Their unique coloring and kind nature embodies what the Holiday Reserve hopes to share with guests, too🦜🧡
