So many elements within The Woodshed have been lovingly handcrafted using locally sourced timber.

Tōtara and macrocarpa line the walls, while walnut takes centre stage in our butcher’s block, bathroom vanity, bedside tables and bed frame, each piece built by a talented and dear family friend.

There’s a beautiful kind of warmth only timber can bring that feels grounding, calming and made to be felt 🤎

We are always so excited to hear of couples getting engaged at The Woodshed and we just recently had our fourth happy couple share the news they got engaged while staying here 🥂
