Amity Motel in Stratford is looking for a reliable, hands-on management couple to take charge of the day-to-day running of our well-established motels.

This is a live-in role suited to a couple who take pride in clean rooms, friendly service, smooth operations, and creating a welcoming guest experience.

We are seeking a motivated person to join our housekeeping team. 🧹✨

This is a part time position.

Roughly 10 hours a week, however hours can be up to 20 hours per week depending on occupancies.

We provide flexible shifts so you can make yourself unavailable at your leisure. Shifts are typically between the hours of 9am - 1pm.

This job is perfect for someone looking to get back into the workforce or looking for some extra money during school hours.

You'll be responsible for:

- Working as part of a team to provide clean, well presented rooms to new arrivals.

- Servicing rooms in a timely manner for guests who are staying with us.

- Ensuring public areas are maintained at our required presentation standard.

- Follow general room tasks or instructions assigned each day.

We have hot rods in Stratford tonight from all around New Zealand. You can catch the cars cruising Broadway tonight before parking up on Miranda Street for the public to view. There’s also tours of the Glockenspiel clock tower available during the public viewing.

The new aquatic centre is a great asset for the Stratford community. We had the pleasure of hosting companies at both of our motels who were working here during construction. It's fantastic to see locals now enjoying the new facility, having opened last week.

It features a 25m lane pool, zero depth splash pad, toddlers pool, learn to swim pool and programme pool.
