๐๐๐๐ | The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) conducted ๐๐ฒ๐ง๐๐ซ๐ ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: ๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ซ-๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ฅ๐ฌ, ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐

The activity began with a faculty meeting led by ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ป๐ฎ ๐ฅ. ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ผ๐๐ฎ, CAS Dean, where updates on the collegeโs accomplishments, ongoing initiatives, and future plans were presented. The discussions reaffirmed CASโs commitment to continuously improving its academic programs and services.
The seminar-workshop featured three learning sessions. ๐๐ป๐ด๐ฟ. ๐๐ผ๐ต๐ป ๐๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ป ๐. ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฎ facilitated the session on developing concept proposals for basic research projects, followed by a writeshop and presentation of research outputs from the different programs and departments.
On the second day, ๐๐ฟ. ๐ ๐ฎ. ๐๐ฒ๐บ๐บ๐ฎ ๐ฃ. ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ฐ๐ผ, Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences Chair, led a session on workplace emotional wellness, highlighting the importance of recognizing and managing anxiety and stress in the workplace.
This was followed by a discussion on curriculum updates facilitated by ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ฒ ๐ข. ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ผ-๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ด๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ผ, CAS Curriculum Chair, which focused on recent developments in higher education and curriculum enhancement.
Open forums after each session provided opportunities for meaningful discussions and the exchange of ideas among faculty and staff.
The activity concluded with closing remarks from ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ผ๐น๐๐ป ๐. ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ, CAS Research Chair, who emphasized the value of continuous personal and professional development and expressed her appreciation to all participants for making the two-day event productive and successful.
