🎬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚ñ𝐨𝐬𝐚 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐦 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚

The Montañosa Film Festival (MFF) marks its 6th year of cinematic excellence, deepening its commitment to the role of filmmaking in imagining and creating a better world. This year, under the theme “Visions & Voices Unbound” the festival becomes a space for sharing stories of justice, identity, and hope.

The festival kicks off with the Opening Gala on March 24, 2026 at 5:00PM at the SM City Baguio Amphitheater. The invite-only assembly brings together visionaries, truth-tellers, and cultural advocates whose voices form the heartbeat of this year’s unbound narratives. Guests are encouraged to wear "Creative Chic."

Although it is a by invite on-ground gathering, the event will also be livestreamed on the official page of Montañosa Film Festival to make the festivities available for a wider audience.

The highlight of this year's Opening Gala are the three Opening Films namely: "Figat" by Dir. Handiong Kapuno and Prod. Guillienne Sanchez; "Vox Humana" by Dir. Don Eblahan; and "Agapito" by Dirs. Arvin Belarmino and Kyla Romero. The screening of these films are FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC at 6:00 PM.
