Dear parents please be aware that there are 4 permanent teeth that erupt or come out of your child's mouth at the age of 6. These are the first molars which parents mistakenly believe to be temporary teeth. Take care of these first molars because they are permanent and DO NOT HAVE REPLACEMENTS when removed. If not cared for, they may decay and become non restorable which results to extraction or tooth removal. When these first molars are removed and not replaced by a denture then it will cause malocclussion and tooth spacing which will require orthodontic treatment or commonly known as braces treatment.
So pay attention to these teeth and encourage your kids to love brushing their teeth. Bring them to the dentist who may treat the teeth for protection against caries.
