Happy Mother’s Day to our Camp Mom, ! She birthed Get Lost too in a way — before we became a campsite, Get Lost was once a travel blog written by none other than camp Mom herself. She wrote about family adventures of visits across the Philippines and different countries before setting up a place here in Zambales, where we now welcome guests to enjoy the sun and the sand. It’s safe to say that Get Lost wouldn’t exist without her. We love you, Camp Mom ❤️ Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there!

Is it hot? Yes. ☀️ But we’d still choose this view and the coastal breeze over being stuck inside four walls. Besides, a little sweat just makes the A/C feel that much better later.

Just a pro-tip: Don’t leave the A/C on 24/7. It’s bad for the planet, bad for your sinuses, and — if the unit taps out — definitely bad for your wallet. 😬 Let the breeze do the heavy lifting for a bit, because that’s what you came here for, right? 🤙🏽

We’ve received quite a few compliments about the little details around camp — the kind you don’t really notice on the website or in the fine print when booking. When we built Get Lost, we made sure it would be a place we’d love spending time in ourselves. More than a business, it’s really our home.

We’re far from being zero-waste heroes, and we aren’t winning any "perfect environmentalist" awards anytime soon. But we’re doing our part in this little corner of Zambales we call home. 🌿

It’s easy to feel like a tiny drop in a very big, very plastic-filled ocean. But for us, it’s become a lifestyle habit — one that’s made us way more conscious of the choices we make as a family and as a team.

We aren't perfect, but we’re intentional. We believe every small choice counts. 🤙🏽

And to our guests who roll with our initiatives — thank you for putting in the effort with us. It’s a lot easier to protect this place when we’re all in it together.

Forever mood: Chasing sunsets (thank God they’re free) 😎

In a season of rising costs and travel stress, we’re keeping it simple. You don’t need a luxury suite when you have a tent, fresh air, and a view that looks like this.

And yes, our tents have A/C 🤙🏽

Don’t forget your human and your grooming essentials. All that swimming and sand-rolling can get a little messy (but very worth it).

Pool rules: potty-trained only, and make sure everyone at camp is okay with your splashy plans. 🐶
