On this auspicious occasion of the 19th Anniversary of the chartering of Quingua Masonic Lodge No. 364, I extend my warmest fraternal greetings and heartiest congratulations to the entire leadership and brethren.

As we assemble this June to celebrate nearly two decades of Masonic labor, our hearts and minds turn with profound gratitude toward the Founding Brothers of Quingua Lodge No. 364.

In June 2007, a dedicated group of Master Masons—bound by a shared vision and a deep love for the Craft—saw the need to erect a new altar of Masonry in the historic soil of Bulacan. They knew that the road would not be easy. It required sacrifices of time, resources, and untiring effort to breathe life into this new Lodge. Yet, with unwavering determination and a firm reliance on Divine Providence, these visionary brethren dug the trenches, laid the cornerstones, and established a sanctuary where Light could shine brighter in the region.

We owe the very existence of our beloved Lodge to their courage and foresight. They did not merely build a roster; they established a lineage of integrity. The harmony we enjoy today within our columns, the charity we extend to our communities, and the strong fraternal bonds that unite us are all the fruits of the seeds they planted nineteen years ago.

To our Founding Brothers who are still with us to witness the growth of their labor, we offer our deepest respect and a collective "Thank you." To those who have already been called by the Great Architect of the Universe to the Celestial Lodge Above, we honor their memory by ensuring that the working tools they passed down to us remain bright and active.

To the present leadership and brethren: the best way we can honor our founders is to guard the legacy they left behind. Let us continue to protect the West Gate with diligence, cultivate absolute harmony, and build upon their foundation with the same zeal and fidelity that defined the class of 2007.

May the Great Architect of the Universe continue to bless our Founding Brothers, and may He grant Quingua Masonic Lodge No. 364 continued peace, prosperity, and enduring fraternal love.

Today, as our nation marks National Flag Day, we look up at the three stars and the sun against the fields of blue and red. For every Filipino, this banner represents our hard-won sovereignty. But for us as Freemasons, it speaks a language uniquely close to our hearts—a language written by the hands of our historical Brethren who shed their blood so that it could fly free.

The history of the Philippine flag is inextricably linked with the history of the Craft in our grand archipelago:

The Design of a Brother: The very symbols we honor today—the triangle representing equality, the radiant sun of liberty, and the stars of unity—echo the geometry and light of our ancient altars. It was designed and dreamed of by men who sat in our lodges, bound by the sacred oath of brotherhood and love for country.

A Tapestry of Sacrifice: From the battlefields of the revolution led by Masonic heroes like Brother Andrés Bonifacio and Brother Emilio Aguinaldo, to the intellectual martyrdom of Brother José Rizal, the fabric of our freedom was woven from the highest ideals of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.

The Duty of a Mason: As Masons, we are strictly charged to be quiet and peaceable subjects, true to our government and just to our country. Honoring the flag is not a mere formality; it is a renewal of our covenant to protect the liberties it symbolizes and to build a society anchored on righteousness and fraternal love.

As we raise our eyes to the flag today, let it remind us of the great architectonic work still ahead of us. Let us continue to square our actions by the virtues of citizenship, circumscribe our desires within the bounds of peace, and walk uprightly before God and country.

May the Grand Architect of the Universe bless our nation, protect our liberties, and keep our banner flying high in peace, justice, and prosperity.
