TAAL VOLCANO AND CALATAGAN BATANGAS

The town of Calatagan, though situated in Batangas is beyond Philvolcs designated Taal Volcano Danger Zones. It is some 70 km away from the crater. In fact, Calatagan is a refuge for evacuees from Agoncillo, Lemery, Talisay, etc.

As for the route to and from Calatagan, motorists can take the Cavitex - Nasugbu roadway. It is a scenic drive thru Hamilo coast and Kaybiang tunnel. This route bypasses Silang and Tagaytay. It hugs the Western coastline and is the farthest anyone can possibly take outside of the Taal danger zone.

From Calatagan - SLEX, Gen. Aguinaldo Highway, and CAVITEX can be reached.

Waze and google Maps phone apps can guide.

❤️ For those who refuse to pass TAGAYTAY , use the CAVITEX ROAD . We will update you every now and then if its safe to come here for we will NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR SAFETY.
