Our Story

Ma. Evelyn Cervantes, a businesswoman and enterpreneur had her vacation in Japan last 2015. She was amazed when she stayed in one of Japan's capsule hostels. It was a different experienced according to her, she was inspired by it's comfort and stylish concept. Then she thought of planning and putting up a hostel in her hometown, Cebu City. "Why not? " she thought. One way of helping travelers, backpackers, adventurers, hikers in spending their nights in Cebu City is to put up a hostel that is very affordable, clean with such amenities like hot and cold shower, light breakfast, free wifi with lounge, dressing room and a safe locker for luggages. When she arrived from her vacation, she was so excited of putting up a hostel. She made such amazing and unique design in each capsule based on her experienced. Then, on December 10, 2016, Shejoje Hostel Poshtel was born.

Located in the heart of Cebu City and is accessible to Robinsons Fuente Osmena, Chong Hua Hospital, Cebu Doctor's Hospital, Velez Hospital, Velez College, University of San Carlos, St. Theresa's College, Sacred Heart Church, Iglesia ni Cristo and Sto. Rosario Church, this unique and very affordable capsule was a Japanese inspired hostel. It captured the hearts of tourists from around the world because of it's warm hospitality, uniqueness, comfort and service.
