Welcome to The Peninsula Resort, a hidden gem nestled within the heart of Mamburao, the capital of Occidental Mindoro. Spanning approximately 50 hectares, our resort is a breathtaking estate set on a peninsula, surrounded by the majestic Mamburao River on two sides and the vast expanse of the West Philippine Sea on the other. While much of The Peninsula Resort is still undergoing initial development, we are excited to announce the upcoming opening of our 18-unit boutique hotel, complete with an infinity pool, a delectable restaurant, and a state-of-the-art event center, all scheduled for the first quarter of 2024. Envisioned to be a world-class diving resort, The Peninsula Resort is easily accessible ( 1 mile from Mamburao airport, 80 miles from Metro Manila) and strategically located just over an hour away from the well-established diving community of Puerto Galera to the north. Moreover, it serves as an ideal jump-off point to the globally renowned Apo Reef. Apo Reef, the second-largest contiguous coral reef in the world and the largest one in the Philippines, holds a prestigious place on UNESCO's World Heritage tentative list. Our sprawling and exclusive resort is designed to offer a wide range of amenities, ensuring a luxurious and unforgettable experience for our guests. From a rejuvenating spa to a variety of sports facilities including pickleball, tennis, volleyball, basketball, water sports, and diving, there's something for every enthusiast.
