At Megaworld Hotels & Resorts, we believe Filipino talent deserves every opportunity to grow and be celebrated in order to bring the Filipino culinary heritage forward.

That’s what the recent Timpla: MHR F&B Conference is all about. For three meaningful days in Boracay Newcoast, our F&B and Culinary Teams from across 16 hotels came together under this year’s theme, “Balancing Heritage, Elevating Craft, Driving Growth.” Through conversations on leadership, sustainability, food safety, and innovation, they learned from one another, and challenged each other to become better.

The conference culminated with the Timpla: MHR Food Festival, where every property proudly shared the flavors, stories, and traditions that make each destination uniquely Filipino.

Because when we continue to invest in our people, we don’t just create better dining experiences, we celebrate our culture, champion Filipino craftsmanship, and inspire the future of Philippine hospitality.

Every seed planted is a promise for the future. 🤍

Together with the faculty, students, and future tourism leaders of the University of the Philippines Asian Institute of Tourism, Megaworld Hotels & Resorts planted 200 Sampaguita seedlings as a symbol of Filipino hospitality for generations to come.

The Sampaguita is more than our national flower, it represents the values that define who we are as Filipinos: Love, Honor, Dignity, and Healing. As these future tourism professionals begin their own journeys, we hope they carry these values with pride, preserving our heritage while sharing the warmth of Filipino hospitality with the world.

Day 1 of Megaworld Hotels & Resorts’ annual F&B Conference at Boracay Newcoast began with a Boracay beach clean-up because, for us, Mindful Travel means travelling responsibly and looking after the destinations that inspire us.🫶✨ Every place we visit deserves care, respect, and a little bit of love in return.

Our teams from Chancellor Hotel Boracay, Belmont Hotel Boracay, and Savoy Hotel Boracay welcomed the delegates, and together, we gave back to the destination we were privileged to call home for the three-day conference.🏝️ We collected 18.2 kilos of trash, a small effort with a big reminder that caring for the places we love always starts with us.💙
