About this space
Stay in luxury in a double-floor Penthouse in the heart of Laureles, Medellin's BEST neighborhood. Admire the artwork by Medellin's most famous street artists. Whether it's the bars on Carrera 70 or the posh restaurants near Parque Laureles I & II, this comfortable apartment puts you in the middle of the action, with panoramic views on all sides. 10-minute taxi to Pueblito Paisa, El Estadio, and the city center is about 12 minutes away, and Poblado, 20 minutes. Closest Metro: Estadio
The space
This is an artistic, beautiful, quiet, bright, cozy, airy and well-ventilated double-floor penthouse.
The full-wall murals were recently completed by three of Medellin's most famous street artists. If you go on a 'Comune 13 Street Art Tour' during your stay, you'll see much more of their work. Take in 360 degree panoramic views of Medellin, and watch the communities sparkle on either side of the valley.
The master bedroom has a private terrace, ensuite bathroom, king bed (2m x 2m), walk in closet and 50 inch TV.
2nd guest bedroom has king bed (2m x 2m) with ensuite bathroom, private terrace and 40 inch tv with plenty of closet space.
The 3rd room is smaller with a shared bathroom, perfect for friends or little ones. You are welcome to use the hammock, whirlpool bath, steam room and extra shower and all kitchen facilities.
The main room is open and bright with a comfortable sofa and 6-seater dinner table.
The amazing overhead projector features: Cable, Amazon FireStick (Netflix, Amazon etc.), and HDMI cable to stream from your computer. And the sound system is great.
Guest access
You will have the entire apartment to yourself.

Other things to note
Please respect the place and the neighbors. Be quiet and respectful while entering and exiting. Absolutely NO S*X TOURISM allowed as both a house and building rule. This jeopardizes the relationship I have with the community and will not be tolerated. This is a one strike rule, and guests will lose their reservation.
Minimum guest stay is one month. No subletting allowed.

Where you’ll be
Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
Set in the trendy, walkable enclave of Laureles, the apartment is set atop a vibrant array of cafes, juice bars, and restaurants, as well as charming pastry shops and bistros.
Getting around
Taxis are cheap, and Uber works great in Medellin. There are buses nearby, and the neighborhood is highly walkable.
Additional rules
Please note ZERO TOLERANCE for breaking the rules below, you'll be removed from the apartment on first occurance.
- Absolutely no s*x tourism (no prostitutes, no underage)
- No parties or overnight gatherings
- Those who are booked on the reservation are those who are permitted to stay in the apartment. Do not show up with unannounced guests.
- Do not hand keys to anyone who is not signed on the contract
- No drugs on the premises (Ma*****na no problem)
- Please note families share the building so be respectful and quiet between the front door and to the apartment
- Always lock the front gate 2-3 times as you come and go at all hours
- No subletting permitted, Minimum stay is one month. Please book for appropriate number of guests
- Minimum Rental: 30 nights
I've been lied to too many times, and I've had to face angry neighbors, and I've had to repair parts of the house due to damage resulting from inconsiderate and unregistered guests.
Don't mean to sound stern, just best to be on the same page from Day 1 (and definitely necessary in this beautiful city of Medellin). You can look forward to a responsive owner and very competent property manager to handle any updates or repairs needed during your stay. As long as all the above checks out with your plans, you'll have an unforgettable and very welcome stay!
