Greetings from your home away from home! As we head into the busiest (and quietest) week of the year, we’ve put together a few reminders to help you survive the crowds and the heat without losing your zen.
1. Check-In & "Me-Time" Schedule
The Full House: We are officially fully booked!, im not so sure-hopefully... If you’re arriving this week, please travel early. The only thing we want you "waiting" for is the sunrise, not a traffic jam.
Service Hours: Our staff will be taking shifts to participate in local services. If you see us looking extra peaceful, it’s because we just came from the church (or we finally finished cleaning the 5th room of the morning).
2. Survival Tips
Hydration is Key: Drink plenty of water. We want you to feel the spirit, not the symptoms of heatstroke.
The "Unplug" Challenge: We highly recommend unplugging your chargers and your brain. If you leave your room, please turn off the lights and fans. Nature provides the best breeze anyway!
Respect the Silence: Holy Week is for reflection. If you must sing in the shower, please keep it to a solemn hymn rather than your favorite rock anthem. The walls have ears, and those ears are trying to meditate.
3. A Little "Hugot" for the Road
On Packing: Sana ang pag-ibig parang maleta—madaling i-close at handa nang i-wan kapag mabigat na. (But seriously, don't leave your actual bags in the lobby).
On Sunburn: Masakit ma-sunburn, pero mas masakit ang ma-burnout. Take this time to rest! Just don't forget the SPF 50, because "tiis-ganda" doesn't apply to peeling skin.
On Fasting: If you’re fasting from meat, remember: Ang pagtitimpi ay parang diet—mahirap simulan, pero fulfillment ang hangganan. (We’ll have the extra rice waiting for you on Easter Sunday!)
4. Safety & Emergencies
We want your stay to be "blissful," not "blistering."
Fire Safety: Please, no candles in the rooms. Let’s keep the "light of the world" metaphorical this week.
Trash: Please use our designated bins. Wag itapon ang basura kung saan-saan—parang feelings, dapat sa tamang tao (o basurahan) nilalagay.
"May your heart be light, your soul be quiet, and your snacks be plentiful. Have a blessed and restful Holy Week!"
Warmly,
Orange Bliss Lodge
