NO FARE HIKE YET in Sagada

For tricycles, report concerns to the Municipal Mayor's Office or through available hotlines.

Penalty for overcharging (PUJs): 5,000

RADYO SAGADA UPDATE:

The Municipal Tourism Council has recommended the suspension of the ₱20 cultural fee at the Paytokan Hanging Coffins following feedback from both locals and visitors.

The council also endorsed a review of the resolution by the Sangguniang Bayan of Sagada, with collections to be paused while the review is underway.

💡 WHAT’S BEING PROPOSED

A one-stop payment system is being considered, where tourism-related fees may be paid in a single transaction at the Tourist Information Office.

💰 POSSIBLE TOTAL (IF APPROVED)

Estimated at ₱140, which may include:

• ₱100 Registration fee
• ₱10 Fidelisan entrance
• ₱10 Ankileng entrance
• ₱20 Paytokan cultural fee

This proposal is still under review, and no final decision has been made.

Important update for our valued guests and future travelers! Due to the recent oil price increase, bus fares from Baguio to Sagada will be adjusted starting March 17.

Fare up for GL/Lizardo routes starting March 17

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — GL/Lizardo Transportation Corporation will implement a fare increase effective March 17, 2026, in compliance with an LTFRB provisional fare adjustment order dated March 14.

Under the new rates, Baguio–Besao fares are set at ₱450 (aircon) and ₱414 (ordinary), while Baguio–Sagada fares are ₱421 (aircon) and ₱390 (ordinary).

Discounted fares for senior citizens, students, and PWDs remain at 20% off, bringing Besao trips down to ₱360 (aircon) and ₱331 (ordinary), and Sagada trips to ₱337 (aircon) and ₱312 (ordinary).
