NO DRONES ANYMORE
Drone flights prohibited at Kawayan Holiday Resort
Due to repeated violations of our drone policy and disrespectful behavior regarding drones, the resort is now a no-fly zone for drones.
To protect the privacy, safety, and comfort of all guests, flying drones is strictly prohibited on the entire resort grounds. This rule is designed to ensure undisturbed relaxation and preserve the resort's intimate atmosphere.
Drones can not only disturb the peace and quiet but also disrupt sensitive moments — whether enjoying the ocean view from the pool or relaxing on the villa terrace. Furthermore, they pose a safety risk, as improper use can cause accidents.
For this reason, drones used in violation of this policy will be confiscated.
We ask for our guests' understanding and thank them for their cooperation so that all guests can enjoy their stay in a safe and relaxing environment.
The resort accepts no liability for lost or damaged equipment.

On October 10th, a powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck southeast of the Philippines, near the island of Mindanao.
We’re pleased to once again reassure all guests and travelers that Kawayan Holiday Resort on Siquijor remains completely unaffected, with no damage sustained.
Neither people nor buildings were affected.
Operations in the region continue to run smoothly.

On Tuesday evening (local time), a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck in the central region of the Philippines.
We are pleased to inform all guests and travelers that the Kawayan Holiday Resort on Siquijor suffered no damage. Neither people nor buildings were affected.
Operations in the region continue to run smoothly. This applies to both flights to Dumaguete and shipping to and from Siquijor.
We wish you a safe arrival and departure.
Guests traveling to Cebu are advised to check the current situation on site and arrive at the airport a little earlier for their flights.
Security checks are currently being conducted at various buildings. Significant traffic disruptions are also expected.
We ask you to pay attention to your own safety and avoid potential hazards if traveling to the earthquake-affected area.
