Focus is everything in our workshops, and so as with reflection.

There are times that individual work, task, and assignment are to be carried out in the workshop, to let the individual gather himself/herself firstly before getting into the whole group.

This is important because assessing, and evaluating the self are needed, before venturing to an endeavor. In this way, the individual reflects on his/her limitations, capacities, capabilities, strengths, and his/her needs for improvement, in order to function necessarily back in the workplace.

A few priceless moments whenever participants in our workshops exchange smiles, laughter, small interactions that make connections, circles, and networks -- the sheer nods, and even that slight affirmation of "mhmm" we get from each other can just be a relief, and to the extent a break from the usual routines we daily do. 🤭

In our facilitation of workshop interventions, one of the highlights is for our participants to deliberately take part in sharing, in discussing, in giving of inputs, and in the overall presenting of their small group outputs to the large group. Participants' involvement is surely a must in any of our trainings, and workshop interventions.

This is one way the participants would learn from one another as a group, and as individuals who are part of the workshop.

During presentations, real time feedback is given out from the facilitator/s, and from fellow participants as well, thereby creating an atmosphere of learning, and in turn having those AHA MOMENTS, that are both worth knowing, and worth accomplishing too.

DAY 2 of our 2nd public workshop on BASIC SUPERVISORY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM - SERIES 2 FEATURING: PLANNING, LEADING, ORGANIZING, & CONTROLLING

This simulation activity was more than just the typical puzzle solving. It was basically trying to get the dynamics of every group that was solving the puzzles all together.

The activity was not entirely about which group would finish first win first. It was intentionally trying to better understand how a group work among each member, before the puzzle is solved.

It was seeing the individuals in the group---how they take part in the activity by solving the puzzle---and as well as on how the group may affect every individual as they work together.
