150 Years Ago today, on 31 January 1876, the eldest of the Abad Santos was born in San Fernando, Pampanga.

He would later become a Katipunero, a Revolutionary, and Assembly Man (Congressman). As a lawyer, his life was dedicated assisting the peasants and the poor of Central Luzon.

In 1918, he became one of the 15 Master Masons who founded Pampanga Lodge No. 48.

Celebrating the upcoming 150th birth anniversary on Jan. 31 of Worshipful Brother Pedro Abad Santos isn't just a nod to the past; it’s a powerful reminder of the values that shape a community.
Pedro Abad Santos was far more than a name on a charter; he was the "Don Quixote" of social justice in the Philippines. His transition from a brilliant legal mind to the founder of the Socialist Party of the Philippines (SPP) and the Aguman ding Maldang Tala-pagobra (AMT) highlights a life dedicated to the marginalized.

• The Intellectual Architect: As a lawyer and former Justice of the Peace, he used his intellect not for personal gain, but to defend the rights of the peasantry and the working class in Central Luzon.
• Masonic Leadership: As the Charter Master of PML48, he integrated the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth into his public service, setting a standard for leadership in San Fernando.
