At the age of twenty the passion for food rose to it’s height, and I travelled across the seven seas to acquire the Associate Degree of Science in Food and Hotel Management from West Valley College, Saratoga, California, U.S.A. An unconventional trend in Pakistan, where food was limited to local “pakwan houses” and traditional family recipes, I took the risk of specializing in a profession which h
eld little appeal to most. My career took a turn, when I joined H.H Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan from1986-2007 as his Food & Beverage Manager for all palaces of Pakistan. Serving the Royal family, dignitaries and presidents from around the world like ex-US President Jimmy Carter himself, my food-ridden journey has indeed been an erudite one.
