Hiran Minar is a beautiful Mughal-era monument located in Sheikhupura, near Lahore.,

It was built during the reign of Emperor Jahangir in the early 17th century.
The monument was constructed in memory of his beloved pet deer named Mansraj.
The tall tower (minar) marks the burial place of the deer.
Later, a large water tank and a beautiful pavilion were added to create a peaceful royal retreat.

It shows the Mughal emperor’s love for animals and nature.
The site was used as a hunting lodge and relaxation place.

Asif Khan was a powerful noble in the Mughal Empire. He was the brother of Empress Nur Jahan and the father of Mumtaz Mahal, the wife of Shah Jahan, who later built the Taj Mahal.
He served as the commander-in-chief and the governor of Lahore during the Mughal period.
His tomb was built between 1641 and 1645 and cost about 300,000 rupees, which was a very large amount at that time.
