For many years this land, “el tosquero” in Teranova, was abandoned and used for illegal dumping. We have finally completed all trash removal, and ready for the next phase. Our hope is to reintroduce several native species through the help of USFWS Caribbean Ecological Services Field Office US Fish and Wildlife, with construction of water features to enhance habitat. SAPO frog is on our list as they were originally located in the Guajataca River areas.

Durante muchos años, este terreno, "El Tosquero" en Teranova, estuvo abandonado y se utilizó para vertidos ilegales. Finalmente, hemos completado la retirada de basura y estamos listos para la siguiente fase. Esperamos reintroducir varias especies nativas con la ayuda de la Oficina de Campo de Servicios Ecológicos del Caribe del Servicio de Pesca y Vida Silvestre de EE. UU. del USFWS, mediante la construcción de fuentes para mejorar el hábitat. La rana Sapo Concho está en nuestra lista, ya que originalmente se encontraba en la zona del río Guajataca.
