Os lenços dos Namorados tem vindo a ser a grande aposta da região de Vila Verde.
Tipicamente do Norte de Portugal, é nesta região que encontra a casa mãe dos lenços dos namorados. Aqui f**a um bocadinho da história: "Com origem no século XVIII, os Lenços Namorar Portugal (ou Lenços de Pedido) eram, segundo a tradição minhota, panos de linho ou de algodão alegremente bordados, com motivos florais, símbolos amorosos (coração, pássaros a voar, chaves, …) e mensagens em quadras num português arcaico, não raras vezes com erros ortográficos, evidenciando a falta de escolaridade das autoras" (Namorar Portugal)

Valentine's scarves have been the great investment of the Vila Verde region.
Typically from the North of Portugal, it is in this region that you find the mother house of the lovers' scarf. Here is a little bit of history: "Originating in the eighteenth century, the Namorar Portugal scarves were, according to the Minho tradition, linen or cotton cloths happily bordered, with floral motifs, love symbols (heart, birds flying, keys, ...) and messages in quatrains in an archaic Portuguese, often with misspellings, showing the lack of education of the authors" (Namorar Portugal)
