We always look forward to this wonderful event where there is so much wonderful food to choose from. The past Atascar events have been memorable.

🍴😋 𝗔𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗶𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘇 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗮 𝗮 𝗔𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿!

📍 De 𝟭𝟲 𝗮 𝟭𝟵 𝗱𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝗹𝗵𝗼, o Largo da Fonte, em Aldeia das Dez, volta a ser palco do 𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗥 – 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝘀 𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗰̧𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮, um evento que celebra os sabores, as tradições e a autenticidade desta Aldeia Miradouro, da rede das Aldeias do Xisto.

Ao longo de quatro dias, os visitantes são convidados a viajar no tempo, recriando o ambiente das antigas tascas, onde os petiscos tradicionais, a doçaria regional e o convívio são os grandes protagonistas.

Mais do que uma mostra gastronómica, o ATASCAR é uma homenagem à identidade, às memórias e às gentes de Aldeia das Dez, proporcionando uma experiência genuína onde a tradição se saboreia a cada mesa.

The Lage Grande de Meruge (Oliveira do Hospital) is so much more than just a massive, beautiful granite plateau. For generations, it has been the heartbeat of the community—home to the traditional community oven, the old threshing floor, and countless local memories.
It is the perfect mix of stunning regional geology and rich central Portugal history right in our backyard.

It is one of the many areas to visit for people who stay here

It’s fabulous that the rally is going to be going through Aldeia Das Dez this weekend

𝗥𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮
🏁 Oliveira do Hospital está na rota da passagem do 54.º Rallye Rainha Santa que vai para a estrada no próximo sábado, 4 de julho. O percurso passa por várias localidades do concelho e há duas rampas no percurso.
👀 Fique atento às redes sociais. O percurso será divulgado oportunamente pela organização a cargo do Clube Automóvel do Centro.

🚗💨 Saia à rua para ver passar e aplaudir os participantes desta prova histórica e apaixonante.
Com 33 equipas nacionais e estrangeiras confirmadas, a prova mítica vai percorrer 356 km medidos ao metro pelas exigentes estradas das Serras do Açor e da Lousã.

As the summer is warming up,we have added air conditioning to Casa Eliza 2. Both our units now have air conditioning to keep you cool in the summer. Of course if you leave the house and it gets too warm there always the fabulous river beaches to keep you cool.

Exciting news for our guests wanting to stay with us next weekend! On Saturday, July 4th, the historic 54th Rallye Rainha Santa will be passing right through Aldeia das Dez.
If you love classic cars, you are in the perfect spot to watch beautifully preserved vintage vehicles navigate our winding mountain roads.
If you are staying in Casa Eliza 1, you can look forward to an incredible bird's-eye view of the action right from the property. If you are staying in Casa Eliza 2, you can step right outside and watch the rally pass by from the street level.
Grab a coffee, find your favorite viewing spot, and enjoy the unique historic atmosphere!
