The big thaw has begun in Bastuträsk. This makes work on Skolgatan 11 a lot easier and planning is well underway. Our first task is to fix a small part of the roof on the balcony. We’re hoping this will be relatively easy as it looks as though it’s just a case of reattaching the panel.
The next step is to work out the best way to reposition the staircase to allow for a safer gradient! This will most likely involve taking some of the headspace from the downstairs bathroom, which is also in need of a complete refit, so we’re working backwards to make sure we’re not having to undo work at a later date!
As the upstairs needs a lot more work, we are focussing first on completing the downstairs which mainly needs modernising and redecorating.
I’m still in two minds about that kitchen!! ☺️
