One of our guests captured our campsite from above with their drone and showed us a whole new perspective. The aerial shots remind us how close we are to lake Skagern, which we often forget, because sometimes "you can't see the lake for the trees"...🙄 Thankfully, the drone can.☺️📷🌲⛅️

We love seeing the many different ways people choose to travel. There are caravans, campervans, converted vans, roof tents, tents on the ground...Some travel alone, others with their families, friends, dogs and - for the first time ever - we hosted a feline camper!😻 There were actually two of them, but the extroverted cat was somewhere outside, exploring the area...

A couple of weeks ago, there was a beautiful sighting of a lone wolf passing through the area - a rare and powerful reminder of the wild nature around us.
Sweden is actively reducing its wolf population from 355 to 170, raising concerns among scientists about a long-term genetic decline, while Slovenia’s numbers are growing, with 115 wolves in an area that is 22 times smaller than Sweden, leading to significant challenges for livestock protection against their frequent attacks.
While the experts work on balancing coexistence and conservation, we feel grateful to share space, even briefly, with such a powerful and elusive presence 🐺🥰(...yet can't help but wonder how we would feel if the tables were turned and the wolves decided to reduce our numbers😅)

På en liten, familjeägd hästgård ligger vår mysiga camping (max 10 platser), omgiven av orörd natur och vänliga djur.
Oavsett om du vill koppla av efter en lång bilresa, utforska den närliggande nationalparken Tiveden, eller bara njuta av den stilla, lantliga skönheten i Sverige, är du varmt välkommen att bo hos oss.😊

This year, we were blessed with exceptionally good weather, and with so many things to do on the farm in the high season, our promotional activities fell a bit behind, but here we are now, ready for the digital world, which we so like to avoid...😅
