🕯️ Lanna Candle Craft
🙏Earlier this month, we were delighted to welcome our guests from Australia to experience our Lanna Candle Craft — a complimentary cultural activity inspired by one of Northern Thailand's most cherished traditions.
During the workshop, guests learn how to handcraft a Phang Pratheep, a traditional Lanna candle made by carefully pouring melted wax into a small handmade clay cup with a cotton wick. This beautiful craft has been passed down through generations and is becoming increasingly rare to experience today.
To make the experience even more special, each guest receives a keepsake box to take their handcrafted candle home as a meaningful souvenir.
Traditionally, the Phang Pratheep is used to:
