Our Story

Baan Phuen Hostel was found by a group of wacky school friends whose wish to travel the world but cannot. So, we’ve decided to meet the world here, Chiangmai, instead. Our goal is not to become the best hostel but to become the hostel you will never forget. PS. Please feel free and stay here like staying at your bestie’s house. And meet your new friends!!! Enjoy!!

The house has a fantastic social spaces including a library / work space, a sunny and spacious common area, an in-hostel bar which is located on the rooftop ,a great place to meet fellow travellers. There’s also a modern self-catering kitchen (available from 7am – 12am) and flexible spaces for meetings and events.

The house offers 2 dormitories (16 pods), 2 cabin rooms, and 4 private rooms. Each pod has an individual light and electric point to charge devices. Lockers (big enough for your hand luggage) are available in dormitories and 2 lockers for the cabin. Just remember to bring a padlock! (or buy one at reception).
