What a wild week it’s been! From booking the Secret Service to arranging a stay for Russian officials, August is a great time to visit Alaska - if you have a place to stay!

Interviews with the NYT, emails with Bloomberg, local papers, and a French television interview. It turns out, accomodation in Alaska was the biggest story of this summit!

I do pray for peace in Ukraine. ❤️

Warm relations between Alaskans and Russians began to shift with the rise of Vladimir Putin and the invasion of Ukraine. In Alaska, feelings on the two leaders’ meeting seemed mixed.

A professional film crew is presently shooting on location at our Tyonek House, which has now been used in professional film production four times, encompassing two advertisements and now two documentary films!

Updated historic home in the heart of Anchorage. Built in 1947 and updated in recent years; the perfect base for Alaska adventure near downtown Anchorage, the University/Medical District and the petroleum companies.

Here in Anchorage we still get daylight for a few hours a day! More power to our brothers and sisters up at the top of the state!

Today, Utqiagvik saw its last sunset for the next 67 days. 🤯 As the northernmost town in Alaska, this community will not see another sunrise until the end of January! In turn, this Arctic town will receive an average of 80 days of uninterrupted sunlight in the summer season.
