A Private Refuge in Kaş
Hidden in the turquoise bay of Liman ağzı and accessible only by boat, This is more than a villa
— it is a living story, written in stone, wood, and sea breeze.
Originally built 50 years ago and reimagined in the 1990s by Italian architect Peter Marangoni,
the house was crafted entirely from natural stone and local materials, blending seamlessly with
its surroundings.
Every detail tells a story: Victorian-era beds from the 19th century, floors paved with tiles
salvaged from an 18th-century monastery, handwoven Ottoman textiles, wicker chairs, and
kilim daybeds. Water flows partly from an ancient mountain cistern, and bougainvillea spills
across terraces where sea breezes drift endlessly.
It accommodates 7 guests with three outdoor-access bathrooms, a private pier and secluded
beach, and generous terraces overlooking the Mediterranean. While its atmosphere feels
timeless, modern comforts are in place: reliable internet, a dedicated caretaker (Ümmühan)
who can cook and tend to daily needs, and Captain Nurcan with a private local boat for
transfers. Guests can easily reach Kaş center for shopping, explore the coast, or enjoy dinners out
— before returning to the privacy of their hidden retreat.
For some, it is the perfect family retreat — a place to gather, recharge, and live barefoot
summers. For others, it is a sanctuary for artists, writers, and visionaries seeking clarity and
inspiration. It is a refuge from the spotlight — a world unseen, where privacy is absolute.
Here, time slows down. Mornings begin with a swim from your pier, and evenings stretch
endlessly under the stars. Silence is broken only by friends arriving by boat or a fisherman
passing with the day’s fresh catch.
For families, artists, writers, or those who seek absolute privacy, It is not simply a villa — it is a
timeless refuge where every moment belongs to you.
