Mathew 5:5
“Blessed are the gentle, for they will inherit the earth.
THE GENTLE RICH
When it comes to gentleness, then alot of financially struggling people will inherit the earth like this verse promises. The poor are always humble because they are afraid no one will bail them out, since they don't even have the money that the bible itself says answers everything. Majority of those with money on the other hand become so proud knowing that their money will back them up, which is such a wrong attitude. That heap of money can't enable you to bribe God so that you inherit the earth if you are found to be devoid of gentleness. Gentleness is power under control. Gentleness is you controlling your money and not the other way round. It is time for us to prove to God that nomatter how much money we get to have, we'll show a double portion of kindness with each penny. Let's show God we are humble and gentle when we deal with superiors and inferiors alike. We are humble when we are at our low and at our high alike. We are gentle because we copy the Holy Spirit. He's so powerful and yet so gentle at the same time. Hallelujah.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
I WANT TO BE POORER
Today I want to let you know that not all poverty is bad. When you are poor because you don't have money and can barely eat, that is not something to be proud of. Work hard and improve on your status. The kind of being poor I want to advise you to embrace is the one I'm enjoying. It is being poor in spirit. Being poor in spirit means you recognise your insufficiency and acknowledge that you are nothing on your own and that it can only be by a higher power. It means you rely and depend fully on God to carry you through everything and give you everything. It means you are meek and humble. God does not despise such. Let me now tell you how your new goal and resolution should be - to become rich financially but poor and poorer in spirit. Hallelujah.

Mathew 5:4
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
MOURNING IS GOOD
This verse says blessed are those who mourn. There was a time I thought the mourning in this verse meant I could just burst out in a loud cry and I would be blessed and comforted. At one point I thought everyone who mourns when someone has died is blessed. How wrong I was! As time went on, and I launched deeper into the word of God and broke before God, certain things began to touch me. I started to lament each time evil occurred. I wondered how people could be so wicked, I wondered what kind of world we live in. I saw that even in these wars, people were killing people, not aliens or wild animals. I wondered how we couldn't live in peace. I felt so sad and sorry when I heard people proudly say God created them to be g**s or le****ns, instead of repenting or even cutting off their silly reproductive organs. I mourned over sicknesses, diseases and death and cried for the ultimate perfect eternal life God promised us, and which we do have. All this my mourning occured naturally, only for me to realize that this was actually what Jesus meant when he preached on the mount. Now I've just in a way defined what this mourning means. When you get to the point where your conviction is so strong and you mourn over the sins of the world, you are good to go. Until then, surrender more to God and break before him. It's achievable. Hallelujah.

John 15:2
He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
GOD'S MACHETE
It's possible to be a dormant, infertile and a barren christian. Most times we blame God for the undesirable things that happen in our lives and we are quick to complain, God why are you doing this to me? From this verse I can deduce that as you ask that, God is also asking you back, but why are you doing this to yourself? The problem is if you are not born again. But if you are born again, you are a branch connected to the main healthy and evergreen tree, Jesus. However, if Jesus was the reason you as the branch are not producing fruits, the bible would've said he'll cut off the tree, but the verse says it's the branch that will be cut off and that is the unproductive you who is just a Christian by title. And just so you don't accuse God as the reason for your barenness, how come others are producing fruit and won't be cut off, but just pruned to produce more? Now, this is how to produce fruit - receive what Jesus the tree has given you and put action into the equation after receiving and boom. Hallelujah.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
SOMEBODY'S DAUGHTER
There was a time I went to church and I had put aside the amount of money I was going to give as offertory. It was isolated and restricted within another pocket that I was going to open only during offertory. The problem is, when the time came, my curios eyes saw the amount the beautiful lady in the row ahead of me was going to offer and I felt bad because it was bigger than mine. I said to myself, I'm a man, and a handsome one. This lady can't give more than me. Being the analytical kind I am, I examined what I was about to do. Increasing my offertory because of this lady and not because of God or anything like that. I realised my action was going to be right but my intention was gonna be wrong; may be I wanted her number, I don't remember. But that experience taught me a lesson; that if I could give more, why would I let a woman or someone else make me realize that? This is what I resolved. If I was gonna give small, I was gonna give small because that was all I had. If I had more, I was not gonna wait for somebody's daughter to let me do the needful. Hallelujah.

Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
YOU ARE A LAWYER
I know you didn't go to law school, but turns out that even with that, today I found out that God doesn't care whether you studied law or not. He has mandated you to represent the oppressed where you can. You'll ask me, but how will I do it? But how have you been complaining and arguing out your cases all along? You've been making the loudest noise arguing out your case when you were mistreated by your spouse and you did likewise when you missed out on food. Now, what God is saying is, direct that same energy to fighting for the rights of others as well. For example we know when you have money people are more likely to listen to you. This time, go and speak on behalf of that poor helpless person who doesn't have money. He's on the right but because he has no money, he's of no reputation, he's just an orphan and fears his boss, go and speak for him, you who commands an audience. If you don't, your silence might as well be the death of this poor person. With this insight, go out represent the defendant through the due process before the tribunal, pro nono, so he may be acquitted. Hallelujah.

Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
YOU ARE WISE
You are not dumb as a believer and one who worships God. As many are still struggling with foolishness, as many are still wondering how the world came to be, you got the right answer that it's by God. Choosing not to stand on your own but to surrender your life into the hands of God alone showed that you are wise. By understanding who God is, how holy and powerful he is, and accepting to respect, value and worship him greatly all show that you welcomed wisdom into your life. You understood something so deep. And now that you have started with wisdom, you can only expect to get wiser because this verse says beginning and not the end of wisdom. I'll leave it to your imagination to paint a picture of how beautiful, rewarding and fulfilling your life will always be. There's no coming down for you. You go higher and higher and shine brighter and brighter with wisdom as your torch. Hallelujah.
