How much is a gorilla permit in Uganda?

1. Official Permit Prices as of Jan to Dec 2026: $800 USD per person.

Regulated by Uganda Wildlife Authority UWA. this is a body that is permitted to sale Gorilla/ primate permits in Uganda.

This amount is 1 hours with gorillas, ranger guide, park entry fees

2. Gorilla Habituation Experience: $1500 USD
5 hours with gorillas 4 permits/day. this is usually for researchers or photographers dedicated serious trekkers.

3.Book 6-12 months ahead.
Peak season June-Aug, Dec-Feb permits gone 8-9 months early.
