East Africa Regional Youth Summits - EARYS 2018 This is official page for East African Region Youth Summit (EARYS) on Climate Change which takes place every year and brings together Youth Across Region.

After the Youth from East African Community member states met from 25-27th July 2014 at the ‘East African Regional Youth Summit (EARYS) on Climate Change’ organized by East African Community Students Union and Tanzania Youth Vision Association and supported by East African Community Secretariat at JB Belmont Hotel in Mwanza-Tanzania and on 11th -14th August 2015 at Grand Global Hotel in Uganda, wi

th the aim of raising awareness and enhancing active engagement of youth on EAC integration processes and climate change; youth of East Africa decide to establish a sustainable youth network that will catalyze climate change initiatives under the name of East African Regional Youth Summit. The summit will provide the virtual umbrella of different youth initiatives involved in the efforts of mitigating the effects of climate change within the region, calling upon involvement of more youth to unit and address the effects of climate change in East Africa Community.
