Just sharing some of our New Mexico Southwest beauty!
Relaxed, urban-rural, farm style bed and breakfast near airport yet minutes away from tourist sights.
Get to know us! Red Horse Vineyard B&B - a relaxed, family-style country setting near the city honoring Albuquerque's Sister Cities with South Valley charm. • Historic location – along El Camino Real, part of the area where the Confederate Army was camped during Battle of Albuquerque, originally part of the Atrisco Land Grant, stories passed down that the horses for Neosho Pony Express were stabled in the back pastures. Original part of home built in 1922 is old Terrone Adobe structure with beams and part of box cars from the AT & SF railroad. • Serene setting for relaxation – founded on Londene Farms where winning race horses were raised, vineyards produce delicious wines, orchards & gardens provide healthy selections. Enjoy a game of billiards, soak in the Jacuzzi, or float in the pool while breathing in the fresh valley air away from the city. • Environment promotes creativity with ceramic pouring equipment and kilns, interesting subject matter for artists to draw, paint, sculpt and photograph in privacy of the lush surroundings. • Nightly opportunities to enjoy relaxing and sometimes rousing music by local artists • Provide a place where cultures, heritage, traditions, talent and curiosity connect and thrive. Focus is to honor the heritage of the farm and its families who have devoted a lifetime of hospitality. The doors have been open to travelers from all over the world through dedication to Sister Cities International for the past 40 years. Through involvement in The German-American Club the land was used for building floats, practicing and hosting German guests. Many South Valley school activities and organizations have enjoyed the farm through the years as it was a focal point for bringing people together. Whether scouting or 4-H or religious gatherings, Londene Farms opened the gates with warmth and hours of enjoyment. The farm has always been a magical place where children could imagine, explore and try out life. One day, children and groups will again run through the grass and build forts or watch a flower bloom. It would be our intention to retain the beauty of a simpler time where kids can be kids and families can relax. Traditions and treasures could be maintained and passed down. Time can stand still – even if only for a weekend.

Exciting news here at RHV!
As of the end of August Phil Capshaw (Darlene's Husband) will be retiring from almost 37 years with AAFES (Army AirForce Exchange Service). Join us with a comment, share, or like for Phil as we welcome him home!
It has been a long wait but we are so excited for him to be joining us. Thank you for your service!
This is done every year across the nation yet each year it is just as moving as the last. Such a beautiful tribute of respect!
Wishing you a safe holiday weekend and praying comfort for those mourning a loved one who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
Thank you to more than 1,000 soldiers from the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and all of the Arlington National Cemetery employees who helped us accomplish another successful Flags-In! Despite rolling thunderstorms, more than 245,000 flags were placed at every headstone and niche wall column in the cemetery.
Please join us in remembering all those laid to rest in these hallowed grounds as we begin the Memorial Day weekend.
Amazing what we find when we clean out a shed built prior to 1900. This shotgun must have many stories to tell... once we google what it is and when it was made!
Carl’s Farmall is often in photos and has pulled many things, but this is a first for dragging a bass!
What an awesome show these talented guys put on! Go listen to Woodbelly if they ever come near your town!
Third times the charm, we were a little skeptical at first but this hoss is pulling us into Ramah, NM for the Road to Riches Fest.
Thank you to @Woodbelly for sharing with us your wonderful music!
Our retreat is a haven for artists needing a rest or a stir of creativity. Thank you for sharing our passion and allowing us to offer rest to your band!
Where discerning (and tuckered- out) Bluegrass Artist’s love to lodge.

Thank You KRQE News 13 for the shout out.
Travel site https://matadornetwork.com/read/wine-tasting-usa/ recently listed the Duke City as the number one place to go wine tasting on its list of number ones in each state.
The site touts the city's 400-year-old wine history, dating back to Spanish colonists and the wide variety offered from metro wineries.
Red Horse Vineyard B&B near Rio Bravo and Isleta was also named as a hot spot for your local wine staycation.
Albuquerque is making a name for itself in the wine industry.
From all of us here at Red Horse Vineyard bed and breakfast we are wishing you a most blessed Christmas and a happy, safe and healthy new year! We look forward to seeing you in 2019!
Carl and Ted enjoyed a traditional Londene family cookie night. These guys sure put a new twist into cookie making! And yes, they washed their hands REALLY well 😁
Enjoying the last day of our warm fall weather with pumpkin cookies on the patio - what else would one do with left over Halloween pumpkins?

Daily we see our pasture, but when a beautiful couple and a talented photographer capture a treasured moment then it becomes a magical wonderland! We love sharing the beauty of the South Valley! Congratulations to Matt and Nicole and great job, Caycee!
As you might know by now, I stepped back from Photography to run my Dot Dot Smile business. But when my Beautiful friend asked me to shoot her wedding well over a year ago, I couldn't say no!
Thanks to the help of my dear friend Taylor, we were able to capture Nicole and Matt's wedding day perfectly!
We wanted to thank The Cooperage and Scarpas Pizza for their awesome catering for the wedding! Their pizza oven was such a cool addition to the buffet line and the food was all so delicious! Very professional crew - thanks! Also great job by America Tent Rents for the tent and dance floor!

Fall weddings have their own special magic... we are ready for tomorrow!
Just relaxing on a typical New Mexico fall evening... it’s almost too warm for a fire!
Here is the KRQE report on Donna’s Haunted House book which she included us in!
A big fan of the supernatural, the owner of the Painted Lady Bed and Brew had no idea the building he'd purchased was haunted.

People are always bringing something new to the farm - that’s one of the things it makes this a real community B&B. Today this new little one arrived to be friends with velveteen. It’s going to take a little while but it looks like they’re going to be good friends!
Love how well Caleb captures the heart of the farm!
Such fun photos and a wonderful review of the farm and B&B. Thanks for sharing our experience!
It’s difficult to find a bed-and-breakfast that will accommodate families, but we’ve discovered a gem for younger kids in Albuquerque, New Mexico: Red Horse Vineyard B&B. And if you like innkeepers with a story, you’ll find one here. The place is run by daughter Darlene & her 85-year-old father Carl. Darlene cooks up a delicious breakfast, made from the eggs that your kids can collect & peaches that they can pick on this mini farm. Honestly, we’re still dreaming about the peach sauce that she made for the cream cheese-filled crêpes! Carl is anything but idle. This former CPA who bought the farm to raise race horses now makes wine (which is actually very good!), paints landscapes, & fires ceramics that the family sells on the property. And the red horse… it’s a nod to the family’s Swedish heritage. Tell us, does a B&B should appealing to your family? - Visit Albuquerque Visit New Mexico
Absolutely beautiful photos of a reception with so many meaningful details. Dunlap Photography captured the essence of each shot. Gorgeous!
Yesterday, Alisha Teresa and Jeremy became husband and wife in a beautiful ceremony at a small church built in 1868 in front of their family and friends.
There were so many details that made their special day so beautiful; the custom wood ring box made by the bride's father, the custom bouquet wrap, gorgeous turquoise jewelry, and so much more. We are so lucky to have spent the day with such a great family! We wish you all the best!
