Red Horse Vineyard B&B

Red Horse Vineyard B&B Relaxed, urban-rural, farm style bed and breakfast near airport yet minutes away from tourist sights. Get to know us! Red Horse Vineyard B&B - a relaxed, family-style country setting near the city honoring Albuquerque's Sister Cities with South Valley charm. • Historic location – along El Camino Real, part of the area where the Confederate Army was camped during Battle of Albuquerque, originally part of the Atrisco Land Grant, stories passed down that the horses for Neosho Pony Express were stabled in the back pastures.
(65)

Original part of home built in 1922 is old Terrone Adobe structure with beams and part of box cars from the AT & SF railroad. • Serene setting for relaxation – founded on Londene Farms where winning race horses were raised, vineyards produce delicious wines, orchards & gardens provide healthy selections. Enjoy a game of billiards, soak in the Jacuzzi, or float in the pool while breathing in the fresh valley air away from the city. • Environment promotes creativity with ceramic pouring equipment and kilns, interesting subject matter for artists to draw, paint, sculpt and photograph in privacy of the lush surroundings. • Nightly opportunities to enjoy relaxing and sometimes rousing music by local artists • Provide a place where cultures, heritage, traditions, talent and curiosity connect and thrive. Focus is to honor the heritage of the farm and its families who have devoted a lifetime of hospitality. The doors have been open to travelers from all over the world through dedication to Sister Cities International for the past 40 years. Through involvement in The German-American Club the land was used for building floats, practicing and hosting German guests. Many South Valley school activities and organizations have enjoyed the farm through the years as it was a focal point for bringing people together. Whether scouting or 4-H or religious gatherings, Londene Farms opened the gates with warmth and hours of enjoyment. The farm has always been a magical place where children could imagine, explore and try out life. One day, children and groups will again run through the grass and build forts or watch a flower bloom. It would be our intention to retain the beauty of a simpler time where kids can be kids and families can relax. Traditions and treasures could be maintained and passed down. Time can stand still – even if only for a weekend.

This tiny, wooden horse may not be much to look at, and compared to other unearthed ancient artifacts it’s not very old at all. Nevertheless, to archaeologists in Sweden, it’s a priceless artifact.

Good Sunday morning! A beautiful day to celebrate God‘s bounty. Just one of the reasons we love having a B&B on a farm - we can’t wait to share it all with you!

Basil and tomato make wonderful fresh Caprese salad and the grapes this year have all gone in to concentrate grape juice which might end up being just juice and might end up being grape jelly… Our guests this winter will find out!

So grateful today! We were very blessed to be recipients of a grant to help with our expenses. Small businesses are struggling so much right now and every little bit is such a huge help!

Thank you to the Rio Grande Community Development Corporation and the New Mexico Coalition Community Foundations!

Even though we are not allowed to be fully open we still have regular monthly mortgages and bills to pay. We deeply appreciate being selected to receive a grant to keep our heads above water! :)

Miss our guest’s special events - one of my favorite times here on the farm - when we get to turn on the yard lights!

This is the area most wedding receptions are held.

We have a couple in house who got married today so we thought we would celebrate with them and light up the whole farm!

Been a busy week down on the farm!

Tony started a small greenhouse, built pens for the rabbits, goats and pigs.
Sami and Theo helped repair a pen.
Theo is practicing for when he grows into the tractor and Phil Capshaw surveyed the land we were blessed with the opportunity to acquire.

We are so thankful to be aware of God’s blessings even in uncertain and trying times!

We look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Two years ago today we stayed here & had a fantastic time in Albuquerque. While there, we bought some mugs which we’ve used everyday since 😊. We loved the place & the hospitality was second to none. Thoroughly recommend staying here if you have the chance & we’ll be back again someday.
Warm welcome, amazingly access-able room, that is completely charming and comfortable. I am appreciating the art, architecture and grounds here and I am looking forward to breakfast tomorrow and 2 more wonderful nights.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Red Horse Vineyard B&B. Lovely, comfortable room, bed, and bathroom. Really good breakfasts. We were made to fee like we were part of the family. Very relaxing and restful. Tour was quite interesting. Will stay again if have the opportunity
Sending Happy Birthday wishes to Darlene.
Nick loved this little guy at your B&B
Great visiting and getting to know Carl
Thank you Darlene for being an amazing host. When we left it truly felt like we were leaving family. I just started reading your families book Call The Vet and am enjoying it. Also loving your mom’s pottery piece sitting on my piano. One question....Did Nick find the spaceship in the painting?
Jacque de la Peña add so you can communicate
Carl and his pottery were fascinating .. loved the red horses!
