Two golfers are about to tee off on the 11th hole when a hearse and funeral procession pass by. The first golfer stops, takes off his cap, and bows his head until they're gone. "That's really respectful," the second golfer says. "Good to see people still have manners." "Well, it's only right," the first golfer replies. "I was married to her for 35 years."

John calmly marked the card. "Eight." "Eight? I couldn't have had eight!" "You claimed six, changed it to five, but you actually had seven. Plus a one-stroke penalty for improving your lie."

A golfer is stuck in a sand trap, swinging away, sand flying everywhere, ball still not moving. His buddy finally says, "You know, you'll never get out of there like that." The guy stops, wipes his brow. "Get out? I'm not trying to get out, I'm having the time of my life."
