✨ PAGEANT AD PAGE INFORMATION ✨
We’ve heard some concerns recently about the required contestant ad page for the Miss & Mister ACHF Pageant, and we wanted to help explain the purpose behind it and offer a few easy ideas!
Ad pages are very common in pageants today and help support a variety of important things throughout the year, including:
🎓 Scholarships and contestant recognition awards
🌟 Community service initiatives and outreach opportunities
📸 Crowning photos, headshots, and media materials
🎤 Event production expenses (sound, staging, lighting, printing, etc.)
🏆 Awards, gifts, and contestant keepsakes
✨ Special events and titleholder activities throughout the year
📖 Program book printing and event materials
💌 Sunshine Fund support for members of the clogging community during times of need
🇺🇸 Promotion and growth of the ACHF Pageant program
👕 Apparel and branding items for incoming royalty
🎀 Decorations and presentation elements for the pageant
❤️ Creating memorable experiences for contestants and families
✨ And other special opportunities for our titleholders
Most importantly, there are MANY ways to complete a full-page ad, and contestants do NOT have to go door-to-door asking businesses for support unless they want to.
Here are just a few ideas to get you started:
⭐ Option 1: Create a personal contestant page
Many families simply pay the difference themselves and create a fun full-page spotlight for their dancer with photos, accomplishments, and encouraging messages.
⭐ Option 2: “Good Luck” Support Page
Ask family and friends to help support your contestant in creative ways!
Examples:
• Charge a certain amount per letter in the contestant’s name
• $10 to add your name to the page
• Small encouraging messages from grandparents, aunts, uncles, teammates, teachers, friends, etc.
• Baby photos, dance photos, fun memories, and shoutouts
These pages often become special keepsakes for contestants and families. ❤️
⭐ Option 3: Business Sponsors
Local businesses, dancewear stores, restaurants, salons, boutiques, photographers, and others may want to place an ad in the program book to support the contestant and the pageant.
✨ Get creative!
The full-page ad requirement is meant to support the program while also giving contestants a chance to showcase themselves and celebrate their journey. There is no “one right way” to complete it.
We hope this helps ease concerns and gives everyone some fun and manageable ideas! 👑
