This beautiful, and well used came in for a new recoil pad. The old one was rough and starting to leave parts of itself about. When it was dropped off we noticed that the rib on the left was loose for over 6" and the right rib had a few unconnected spots to boot. So we ground the new pad and then set out to very carefully relay the ribs without ruining any of the blued finish (client really didn't want to have it refinished after a bad experience in the past with someone else.) We also needed to be sure not to change point of impact in relationship to point of aim as its this clients favorite clays gun. With some thought, practice on scrap barrels, and a little effort, we pulled it off.
