With so many new followers here lately, I thought it might be time to reintroduce myself and the heart behind Cape San Blas Getaway. ❤️
Years ago, we fell in love with the quiet beauty of Cape San Blas. We were taken by the uncrowded beaches, the sunsets, the slower pace, and the feeling that families could truly relax here. What started as a "we can try this” adventure eventually became Beach Camp, Good Fortune, and Sweet Necessity.
Cape San Blas Getaway is a small family-owned business with three homes that we personally care for and manage with an incredible team. We intentionally keep things small so we can provide a more personal experience for our guests. We know every detail of our homes, personally communicate with guests, and truly care about creating a wonderful vacation experience for every family that stays with us.
The second photo was taken in 2015 while we were building our very first home on the Cape, the original Good Fortune. At the time, we never could have imagined that one dream home would eventually grow into the four homes we’ve built over the years and the three we proudly share with guests today.
What started as a love for Cape San Blas has become something far more meaningful than we ever expected. Watching families gather, relax, celebrate milestones, and return year after year has been one of the greatest rewards of this journey.
