Who we are
We are Sweetwater Creek Beard Company. We started to make beard oil and beard balm in June, 2016. After making soap for almost 8 years, we decided to enter into the beard oil and balm market. We read a few recipes and decided on what we wanted for ingredients. The beard oil was very simple to make. The beard balm was a little more challenging; but once we found a consistency that we liked, we started to sell it at markets and online. In June 2018, it will be two years in the business. You can get beard oil at Walmart and from many different companies. But, you want a beard oil and balm that softens your beard, and maintains it scent for as long as possible. We believe that we have achieved that with our products so far. We have six scents now: ZenMaster (lemongrass with an herbal and clean combination of essential oils), Renaissance Man (a citrus and earthy blend of essential oils), Wiseguy (bay rum), Woodsman (a manly musky type fragrance oil), Mountain Climber (a woodsy and minty blend of essential oils), and Lions of the Caribbean (a blend of bay rum with a spicy and fruity blend of fragrances).
In February, 2018, we released Forager and Explorer. Forager is a black raspberry vanilla scent and Explorer is a pomegranate scent. We also changed the formula for the beard oil and beard balm to use oils that were lighter and more moisturizing. We added two butters to the beard balm so that the beard balm would not crystallize and would moisturize the beard better too.
In June, 2018, we released three new scents, Surfer, Beachcomber, and Merchant. Surfer is a citrus blend of orange, grapefruit, and lemon. Beachcomber is a piña colada scent. Merchant is a to***co and lime scent.
In November 2018, we released two natural deodorants, Lions of the Caribbean and Woodsman natural deodorants. We had to reformulate our deodorants so that it would work well with fragrance oils.
