🧨 From Explosives to... Storytime? 🐄
They say "find a hobby," but apparently, I heard "start another business."
Most moms spend their summer trying to survive the laundry mountain and 4-H fair projects. Me? I decided that running Stars & Stripes Fireworks and juggling kids in summer sports wasn’t quite chaotic enough. So, naturally, I’m launching Once Upon a Farm Summer Camps! 🚜📖
My friends think I’ve officially lost my marbles. My schedule currently looks like:
Selling actual explosives (don’t point that sparkler at me!).
Cattle chores & fair projects.
The never-ending cycle of sweaty jerseys and grass-stained socks.
Trying to maintain a "sane" facial expression in public.
But in all seriousness, I am so excited to bring literacy development to the farm! We’re going to be pairing great books with our cows—and if I can keep them from eating the homework, we might even have guest appearances from some goats, pigs, and ducks. 🦆🐷
If you need me, I’ll be the one with a book in one hand, a sparkler in the other, and a very large coffee. Come join the madness!
Laundry status: Abandoned.
Excitement level: Through the roof.
Sanity level: Let's not talk about it.
