We spent some time after the holidays at the beach. It was a nice way for our family to reset after the busy Thanksgiving and Christmas season. Despite the chill in the air, we caught some beautiful sunsets, played in the sand, read, crafted, explored restaurants (some favorites and some new), got ice cream, visited the Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo, spent NYE with dear friends who live in Buxton, and of course found new projects to do.

A: While it is possible for our 911 operators to locate callers who use a cell phone to dial 911, the quickest and most efficient way to get help is to always know your exact location.

🚑 Always take note of the street address of your accommodations—- not the house name.
đźš‘ When visiting the beach, pay attention to the street you access the beach from, the beach access name or what milepost you are closest to. Every second counts in an emergency!
đźš‘ If available, send someone to meet the first responders at the nearest access point to help emergency responders locate you quickly.

Welcome to our newest adventure!

We purchased this home in 2024 and have been working hard this past year to make it even more spectacular than when we bought it. It is the perfect home for 2-3 families to comfortably enjoy time together. The views from the home are gorgeous and the beach is just steps away.
