We took an amazing trip from Mackinaw City to Sault Ste Marie to see the locks.
We are so blessed to be able to travel around our great Nation and see so many great attractions!!!

One amazing part of that trip was that my husband got to meet up with an old Army buddy!!!
They served in Iraq together and it’s been 23 years since they have seen each other!!! What a fun way to end our trip!!!

Check out our latest video. Stayed at a two different types of KOA’s along with driving through the UP to Mackinaw City. It was one of those trips that we had to start a list of things we missed. We never seem to have enough time to see everything.

Overnighting in Lake City PA to visit some family then headed to KY for our daughter’s 21st birthday!!!🎂

Is anyone else done with this humidity and heat in the Northeast?
I hate to get through Summer so quick but I do LOVE Fall!!!!

Our trip to Mackinaw City was so much fun!!!
We saw some lighthouses and of course took the ferry to Mackinac Island!
We had a great day and the water was just beautiful!!
We decided to rent bikes and ride the 8.2 miles around the island!! There were tons of neat little shops and we had some good food!!
We walked up the 207 steps to see Arch Rock!!! It was beautiful!!

The Mackinaw Bridge is truly Amazing!!!!
We stayed at the Mackinaw City KOA, it was clean and the staff was great! Our only negative would be that the sites were Super close!!! But we enjoyed our stay!!
It’s definitely a must go to trip and we will be going back to see all the stuff we missed!!!

We just put a YouTube video out of the MACKINAW City KOA!!! It’s a quick review of the campsite!!
We were pretty happy about the campground Except our site was a bit tight!!! They did have some larger pull through sites and if we go back we will def book one of those!!
The staff was great and it was clean!!

Planning for 2027

My husband is the planner. I just give him the ultimate location I want us to go and he plans the trips.

I asked him if we could spend some time on the coast in Maine and then possibly in the Hilton Head area on a separate trips. It’s always interesting to see what he comes up with.

How far in advance does everyone else plan their trips? Or what apps do you use, RV Life?
Also, what’s everyone else’s plans for 2027?
