1st crop 2026 officially underway 🚜🌿

It was a whole family effort this morning to get both tractors ready and hooked up to their respective mowers. Everything greased. Tires aired up.

Crazy how quickly things can change.
Up until last year it was Philip and I cutting hay with each of us having a boy riding along...
Now me n babes are on the sidelines while Pj, William and Levi cut.

Boys grow up.
Change is good.
We love family farming!

When our 2nd son was born is when we pursued testing our herd for A2 genetics.

As a mom, I always dreamed of nursing my babies... but unfortunately for me that dream never came true ✨

And so we are very thankful for bottles and raw milk formula recipes!😋

Now I'm doing the same with our 3rd son. It feels so good to be giving him a clean 'formula' and the A2 is easier to digest 🤍

Now we'll compare the [big + medium] with:
1.) the breeding dates we have for them
2.) how much they're still milking

And that will determine how soon they get to go on their 2 month vacation! ⛱️

A couple years ago we switched to this instead of getting the vet out to ultrasound them all. A whole lot less stressful for everyone involved 😅

It's great. We don't mind. Not everyone likes them.
And it's fine 😁

But.
Have you ever stopped to look at a dandelion flower? Its so Beautiful 💛
Definitely a FLOWER... not a w**d at our farm!!😄

Dandelions have such amazing health benefits.
Great for healing, moisturizing and soothing salves. Yep all our tallow balms have been infused with these pretty flowers.
And...
Dandelion tea!
