Bath Winter Moon-

This is the other image yesterday's moonset/sunrise shoot. It was what I had in mind when I left, and I'm glad it came together.

The large white steeple is the iconic Winter Street Church in Bath. It is a local landmark and a very impressive structure to stand under. You can also see the holiday decorations still in the trees in Waterfront Park, a great place to commune with the mighty Kennebec River and home of Bath Heritage Days in the summer. Some of the buildings on Front Street are visible. I think I can even see Lisa-Marie's Made in Maine Inc., a great local store, run by great people, featuring items made by local artists and craftspeople. They just so happen to carry prints, canvases, and other items featuring my photography in the store.

I hope you enjoy these photos as much I enjoyed making them. I love winter, love capturing the places around me, and love astronomy.
