Three Sisters Marathon- 5k & Relay

Three Sisters Marathon- 5k & Relay Welcome to the official page for the 3rd Annual Three Sisters Marathon.

This race is scheduled for Saturday June 8th, 2013 starting and finishing at the beautiful Eagle Crest Resort in Redmond Oregon. The Three Sisters Marathon is USATF certified, chip timed and is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. The course is along the Deschutes River in beautiful Central Oregon and is mostly flat with some rolling hills set against the backdrop of the very scenic snow capped Three Sisters Mountains nestled in Oregon's Cascade Range.

Oh! Forgot...Come register for another jaw dropping run/walk as you take in the sights of the snow capped Cascades, quiet rural roads & animals both wild and domestic. Packet Pick up & late registration is at Eagle Crest Resort Conference Center (across from the ECR hotel) from 4pm to 9pm today, Friday June 7th or 45 minutes prior to your desired race @ the Start Line at the ECR Soccer Field (all event parking is up the road at the Equestrian Center, 0.2 miles from the Starting Line). SEE YOU HERE!!!!!

Just got back in from a night of putting TSM course directional markings up to mile 14...my Course Operations team will be back out on the road at 6am. Saturday looks like the weather will be LOADS BETTER than last year's cold & windy race!

For all of our Marathon Relay-ers out here...we hope that you noticed the change from a 5 person relay to a 4 person effort (the 2 person relay will stay at 13.1 for each participant).

Our comfort level of the exchange points at mile 10 & 15 bothered us with safety concerns so that prompted the change for our 3rd annual TSM. The exact leg milages will be released soon (I am trying to keep them as even in length as I can). Thank you for your continued support!

If you've enjoyed the Three Sisters Marathon team relay, then we encourage you to take a look at another new scenic short course team relay that we have put together for 2012. It's a 25.3 mile course for teams of 5 or as little as 2 runners or walkers. Legs range from as short as 4.03 miles to 7.91 miles. Three of the four exchange points are at a Covered Bridge! Registration is now open.

Local station Z21 weather forcasters are predicting a Friday night low of 36 (makes for a nice cool race start) and a high on Saturday of 61 with cloudy skies...no rain (that ends on Thursday)! Get those last minute registrations in ASAP!!
