Next Month (May) is the beginning of the Deschutes River's busy 'times of year'...as in, "Let's Float!"...here is a great place to get info on how to/where to go for a great time at the River.

For nine months of the year, the Deschutes River through Bend’s Old Mill District is a tranquil, picturesque waterway dotted with an occasional paddle boarder or kayaker enjoying the peace and quiet while sometimes maneuvering around a lone duck or gaggle of geese.

The Old Mill District of Bend has great eats and shops! And a neat history of development. Situated right on the Deschutes River, with a great walking path, it's one of our Favorite places in Bend!!
