The story behind the spoons... 🍴✨

When I was choosing the decor for The Sapling back in 2019, my goal for the vibe was simple - create a space that feels safe, relaxed, and allows guests to have a great time.

When I saw these decorative wooden spoon and fork wall hangings - they instantly reminded me of the ones my Aunt Wendy had in her kitchen growing up.

Wendy was my sister's aunt, but she loved me just like her own. In her home, I always felt completely safe, relaxed, and happy (and I never left hungry!).

That exact feeling of warmth is what I want for everyone who steps into our space. Because of that memory, you’ll now find these wooden spoons and forks hanging in each of our 3 cabins.
They’re my little daily reminder of what true hospitality feels like.
