Sometimes I sit back and realize how much truly goes into building all of this behind the scenes.
The flowers, the landscaping, the greenhouse, the props, the animals, the constant maintenance, the rentals, the deliveries, the setup, the cleaning, the endless trips for supplies… it adds up very quickly both physically and financially. Even something as simple as soil turns into truckloads at a time just to keep things growing and beautiful. 🌿
At the end of the day, this entire space has mostly been built by just me and my husband (plus my kids running around “helping” where they can 🤍). While I genuinely love doing this and creating opportunities for others, I think sometimes people forget there are real people behind small businesses trying their best to keep everything going.
This space was created with the intention of helping others create, grow their businesses, make memories, and thrive. I have always tried my best to be accommodating, help photographers, offer reschedules when possible, and create affordable opportunities for our community.
Unfortunately, over time, the negativity surrounding the property, anonymous complaints with the city, judgment, and constant pressure has become very emotionally and physically exhausting. It becomes difficult pouring so much love, money, and energy into something while simultaneously being criticized for it.
Because of that, I’ll be taking a step back for a little while to regroup, focus on the property, rework some areas, and reset mentally. During this time, I will not be accepting photographer bookings or scheduling reschedules until further notice.
To everyone who has supported us kindly, respectfully, and genuinely through this journey — thank you. You truly have no idea how much it means to our family.
